A new work experience programme at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, is helping young people develop their skills and get back into work. More than 20 young people are expect to benefit from the new work experience scheme developed by the facilities company Serco, in partnership with JobCentre Plus.

Falkirk Partnership, which includes Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, Third Sector and Independent Sector, is committed to making sure that services and supports for older people, their carers and families are of a high quality and accessible to people most in need at the right time. The Partnership has developed a draft 3 year Joint Strategic Commissioning Plan for Older People's Services . This explains how we will deliver services and reshape them as required, and the anticipated outcomes and priorities.
In establishing our priorities and designing services, we feel that it is very important to involve older people, their carers and families and also the organisations that we work with to provide services.
