Structure
There is a Senior Health Promotion Officer responsible for co-ordinating and working with all the other teams within the Health Promotion Service on sexual health issues.


AIMS

1.  To facilitate sexual well being through promoting positive interpersonal relationships and respect for self.

2.  To work towards a climate in which:

• Sex and sexuality can be openly discussed.
• Coercive and manipulative behaviour is actively challenged.
• Encourage positive choices around sexual health.
• Help young people and adults avoid unwanted or unplanned pregnancies.
• Help young people and adults avoid sexually transmitted infections.
