It Was Vital I Learn by Doing PDF ( 541kb- 32 pages) In this particular project INTER-ACT supported staff in school to develop confidence and skills in using interactive drama and role play techniques in delivering personal, social and health education (PSHE). The success of their work is evident not only in the project described in the following pages, but was also demonstrated by the teachers concerned who, when offered the chance to work again with INTER-ACT to explore issues of sectarianism, responded with enthusiasm. |

Max in the Middle Report PDF( 222 kb - 32 pages) Max-in-the-Middle, as a concept, originated from concerns surrounding the growing issue of childhood obesity in Scotland. In this instance, the primary target group was pre-teens, mainly from Regeneration Outcome Areas (ROA) in Forth Valley. Adopting a whole-class approach lasting one week, the project sought to engage young people in exploration of and reflection upon issues of healthy eating, physical activity and self-image and help them to make sense of potentially conflicting pressures. |
