The Health Promotion Department works in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council Education Department to ensure all establishments are working towards Health Promoting Schools Accreditation. The multi-disciplinary Health Promoting Schools Steering Group directs this work.

Playground Development Project  - 

The community of Clackmannan Primary School has raised the profile of school with their Playground Development Project. Play areas within the early years, junior and senior playgrounds have been transformed into colourful, eco-friendly fun places to play and relax.

This project had been very successful because of commitment from the local community, funding and further support from business and key partners.

Fishcross Primary School

School Presentation  -

Fishcross Primary School's School Nutrition Action Group (SNAG) actively promotes a whole school approach to healthy eating. This includes breakfast clubs as well as after school activities. Pupils also encourage their parents to make healthy choices so they can continue with this theme at home. The school will launch their healthy tuckshop this term.
