Community Development Approaches to Health  - 
To define 'community development' and to discuss how a social model of health can be used to address community health issues, and to produce an action plan for integrating community development approaches into practice.

Prospective Participants: 

Anyone working in the community, NHS staff and voluntary groups who are in a position to act as health promoters.

To gain the relevant skills to use in working with groups in the field of health.

People working in health and health related occupations, education, the community and voluntary sectors who wish to gain an understanding of the basic skills and knowledge required for working with groups.
