How to worksheets Do you want to run a healthy eating event/initiative? Don't know where to start? The How to? series of workshops on: 1. DIY Fruit Salad Workshop 2. Fruit and Vegetables Workshop 3. Pizza Workshop 4. Smoothie Workshop These have been designed to help you get started. These are a tool designed to enable community groups, schools, youth clubs, out of school care, playschemes and nurseries run their own healthy eating workshops/events, from what you need to consider, equipment, preparation and making it happen. Recipes are also included as a guide and the recipe sheets have been produced separately for participants to take away.

Eat oily fish at least once week 8. Halt the Salt Set of 8 A5 leaflets which can be used individually or as a set of 8. They support the Scottish Executives key dietary targets - topics include general healthy eating, breakfast, water, fruit, vegetables, oily fish and salt.The leaflets contain general information on each of these topics, a few recipe ideas and useful nutrition websites are listed on each. These leaflets are intended for use with the general public and they could be used in a wide range of settings. Another useful resource which can be used in conjunction with these leaflets are the Eating For Health display panels, which are available from HIRS.

Cooker Cooking - Leaflet No Cooker Cooking - Leaflet These leaflets have been designed for use with children in groups or individual, for example, out of school care, playshcemes youth clubs, mainly targeting the primary school age group, however would be suitable to wider age range if required.Each recipe is for individual cooking and could be used to make up cookery session, the recipes are also designed to be appropriate snacks with these group, where children could make their own snack.
