Community Health Profiles 2002

The Forth Valley Community Profiles aim to provide an overview of health at community level.  They comprise various indicators of health, information is available on demography, mortality, morbidity, and life expectancy.

The profiles are  available at many different geographic levels; the 71 communities in Forth Valley, local council areas (Falkirk, Stirling, & Clackmannanshire), Forth Valley as a whole, as well as the SIP (Social Inclusion Partnership) and SPUR (Stirling Partnership for Urban Regeneration) areas.

Further information on health issues in Forth Valley can be found in the 13th Annual Report of the Director of Public Health (The Health of the Population of Forth Valley 2001-02).

The 2002 profiles are contained in an excel spreadsheet -

Points to note:  The profiles have been created in Microsoft Excel (97), and do contain macros (the file has been checked for viruses).  The profiles are best viewed at screen setting 800x600 pixels.  Due to the size of the file it may take a few minutes to open so please be patient!
