If you need medical attention during daytime working hours, you should contact your GP surgery in the first instance.
If you or someone you care for is unwell and you feel that it can't wait until your GP surgery re-opens then you can call NHS 24 on 08454 24 24 24, who will give you advice or refer you to a healthcare professional.
The services offered by NHS24 include:
Self care advice being provided by a Nurse Advisor
An appointment to visit the nearest Primary Care (Out-of-Hours) Centre
Information on Primary Care (Out-of-Hours) Centres An agreement that a Doctor will visit the patient at home
If necessary:
You may be directed to NHS Forth Valley - Emergency Services (Accident and emergency) (Accident & Emergency)
We will send a '999' ambulance, with paramedic, while giving supportive advice and help over the phone.
Emergency Dental Advice is also available in Forth Valley for unregistered patients during daytime working hours.
The Advice Line number is 0844 800 6886. If you are registered with a dentist you should contact your own dentist in the first instance.
