Patients' Rights Event

Get InvolvedThe Scottish Government is currently consulting on a proposed Patients' Rights Bill. This is one of the key steps that the Government is taking towards developing an NHS where ownership and accountability is shared with the Scottish people and with the staff of the NHS.

The proposals include a number of measures designed to reinforce and strengthen the rights and responsibilities that patients have, including those created through equality and human rights legislation, and to create a clear framework for what patients can do if things go wrong.

NHS Forth Valley is holding a public event to discuss the proposals. This will take place on 7th January 2009 at Stirling Royal Infirmary conference Centre at 6.30pm - 9pm.
