Public Partnership Forum

To make sure that the public are involved Public Partnership Forums (PPF) have been established.

A representative from the PPF will sit on the Community Health Partnership Committee, which oversees the work of the CHP.

The aims of the PPF are:

  • to ensure that you are informed about the range and location of health related issues
  • to involve the local community in discussions about how to improve health services
  • to support wider public involvement in planning and decision making
  • to help the CHP breakdown the barriers that prevent equal access to services

Why should I become involved in the Public Partnership Forum?

Health is everybody's business.  The CHP will affect everyone in your area, and the PPF is your chance to tell them what you think is important.

In order to ensure there is equal access to services the PPF needs to be made up of people from all section of the community.

If you would like more information about the PPF in your area you can contact the Public Partnership Forum Co-ordinator:
