Biography

I became Leader of Falkirk Council in May 2007 having served as a local councillor for 12years. I also represent the Council on the board of Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley, the National Association of Councillors, Cosla and Forth Valley NHS Community Health Partnership.
Before becoming a councillor I was employed in the care sector firstly working with the elderly then going on to work with young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties in residential care.
