Mr James King is a CIPFA qualified accountant who spend 13 years in local government with Glasgow and Falkirk Councils and 20 years with Royal Mail Group where he was Finance Director for Scotland and N.Ireland and latterly General Manager of the Post Office Counter Network before taking early retirement in 2004.
Mr King is currently a member of the Accounts Commission, Board of Management of the Glasgow Metropolitan College, Treasurer of Stirling and District Association for Mental Health and also a Non-Executive Director of the NHS National Services Scotland Board.
