Community and Third Sector

Public HealthImproving health requires partnership working. In addition to the NHS and Councils (forming part of the public sector), partners may include businesses (private sector) and not-for profit organisations (the third sector). A further stakeholder is the community of interest itself, and often the third sector forms a means of engagement for individual and communities.

Within each council area there is the development of the 'third sector interface', which is designed to facilitate partnership working. These are as follows:
