Westbank Day Hospital
Any individual between the ages of 18 - 65 who has a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental health difficulties and who has a Consultant Psychiatrist. People who can wait 4 weeks to be seen.
Types of Treatment / Care / Support Provided
Health Maintenance: administration of IM medication, Venepuncture, annual reviews that assess physical and mental wellbeing in relation to medication.
Individual Assessments and Individual Psychosocial InterventionsShort Term Psycho-Educational Groups - that include Depression Education, Anxiety Management, Making Sense for Psychosis and Schizophrenia, Sleep Hygiene, Healthy Lifestyle Choices and Stress Management with Steps to Relax.
Long Term Groups - that focus on illness education, vocational & skills development, social/community integration and activities of daily living.
