Bus Stop at Forth Valley Royal Hospital

An extensive network of bus services provides good accessibility to Forth Valley Royal Hospital throughout the region. Direct bus services connect Bainsford, Bannockburn, Carron, Falkirk, Larbert, Stenhousemuir and Stirling with Forth Valley Royal Hospital every 10 minutes throughout Monday to Saturday daytimes.

Buses now arrive at and depart from Forth Valley Royal Hospital approximately every minute during Monday to Saturday daytimes.

First provide a number of services commercially and NHS Forth Valley have also invested in a range of bus services.

From 1 April 2013 revised fares will apply to all H services. Further details can be found in the following leaflets:

The key direct bus services serving Forth Valley Royal Hospital are:

  • Service 6 & 7 every 10 minutes from Falkirk, Bainsford, Stenhousemuir and Larbert.
  • Service 19 every 60 minutes from Denny, Bonnybridge, Falkirk Community Hospital, Falkirk, Grangemouth and Bo'ness.
  • Service 27B every 60 minutes from Banknock, Bonnybridge, Falkirk Community Hospital and Falkirk.
  • Service 38 & X38 every 20 minutes from Polmont, Linlithgow and Edinburgh.
  • Service 38, 60 & X38 every 10 minutes from Stirling, Bannockburn, Larbert, Camelon and Falkirk.
  • Service 59 every 60 minutes from Callander, Airth, Stenhousemuir, Falkirk Community Hospital and Falkirk.
  • Service 60 every 20 minutes from Clackmannan, Alloa and Tullibody.
  • Service H1 & H2 every 60 minutes from Alloa & Clackmannan (every 120 minutes from Hillfoots).
  • Service H3, H4 & H4a every 30 minutes from Denny, Stenhousemuir, Grangemouth and Polmont. 
  • Service H5 every 120 minutes from Kincardine and Stenhousemuir.
  • Service C34 & C35 from Forthside, Fallin and Cowie.
  • Service 6, 7, 59, H3, H4, H4a and H5 every 10 minutes from Larbert Rail Station 

Note that frequencies shown are those provided from approximately 0800-1800hrs on Monday to Saturday daytimes. Buses generally operate at lower frequencies during Evenings and Sundays. Please check timetables for full details.

National concessionary travel scheme for older and disabled people travel cards can be also be used on all services.
