Travel Information
Travel information is listed for each individual hospital and health centre (see under hospitals). Patient Transfer Service
The Scottish Ambulance Service provides transport for patients who need support to reach their healthcare appointments due to their medical or mobility needs.
The number to call is 0300 123 1236 (calls are charged at local rates for both landlines and mobiles).
Patient Enquiries and Appointments
If you can't go, let us know. Thousands of patients fail to turn up to their appointments every month. This costs the NHS money and can result in longer waiting times. So if you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason or no longer require it please let us know in advance as we may be able to offer it to someone else requiring treatment.
If you have a query regarding your appointment or would like to change or cancel it please contact the patient booking number on your appointment letter or phone 01324 566 249 or 01324 556 248. You can also email FV-UHB.RTT@nhs.net for queries relating to outpatient appointments at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and a number of appointments at Stirling and Falkirk Community Hospitals (for cardiology, X-ray, diabetic, renal, oncology or women's and children's appointments, speech and language therapy, dietetics, physiotherapy please call the department or service direct on the number provided on your appointment letter).

Patient Advice and Support Service
The Patient Advice and Support Service (PASS), which is part of the Scottish Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) Service, provides independent, free, confidential information, advice and support to anyone who uses the NHS in Scotland. It aims to support patients, their carers and families in their dealings
with the NHS and in other matters affecting their health. It also advises and supports people who wish to give feedback, make comments, raise concerns or make a complaint about treatment and care provided by the NHS in Scotland.
