R&D Committee Meeting Dates

The purpose of the R&D Committee is to help ensure the delivery of the NHS Forth Valley Research & Development Strategy.

The committee consists of clinicians, R&D staff, the Medical Director and other representatives including support departments, staff from the University of Stirling and Scottish Health Innovations Ltd (SHIL).  The Chair must be a Forth Valley clinician.  The current Chair is Dr Ishaq Abu-Arafeh.

Meetings are held bi-monthly and the meeting dates for 2011 are:

RESEARCH ENDOWMENT APPLICATIONS

We are now in a position to accept application forms for Research Endowment funding for the financial year 2011/2012. Please contact the R&D office for an application form and application guidelines. completed formsshould ideally be received into the R&D office 4 weeks prior to the September sitting of the R&D Committee, the date of which is 29 September 2011, therefore all applications should be here by 26 August 2011 at the latest. This gives us time to circulate the applications for the committee to review and feedback. In the event that the applications do not exceed the funding, we may be able to review later than this date.
