Current Research
NHS Forth Valley undertakes a wide variety of both commercially (around 13%) and non-commercially funded research across many clinical areas. The studies range in size from multi-centre international trials to small local student projects. As of February 2011 we have some 200 studies active, with around 30 more in various stages of applying for approval. This chart details the proportion of research in various areas:
