IDEAL Database

Forth Valley Public Bodies and CVS Falkirk have worked in partnership to develop a shared database that will allow partners, across Forth Valley area, to improve community engagement in relation to equalities.

What will it do?

The IDEAL data base is:

• A comprehensive database containing information on both local and national equality and diversity organisations and community groups
• A meaningful, current and up to date resource
• A resource which Community Planning Partners could use as their main source of information for consultation and communication on equalities matters, through the production of mailing lists, e-mails and identification of relevant contacts
• A resource which can be utilised to improve community engagement and good practice in relation to equalities with a wider range of organisations thereby supporting the legal obligations of each of the partners in respect of equalities
