About Us

Forth Valley Giving is a registered Scottish charity based in Falkirk Community Hospital. Our primary aim is to generate legacy, donation and fundraising income for the NHS Forth Valley Endowment Fund.

The NHS Forth Valley Endowment Fund consists of a General Fund of 'unrestricted' monies and a range of 'restricted' funds linked to specific wards, departments and services.

These funds provide a significant contribution to overall patient comfort and service in the Forth Valley area and are reliant on donations and legacies from patients, patient relatives, the general public, NHS staff and external organisations.

The NHS Forth Valley Endowment Funds are administered by the NHS Forth Valley Endowments Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to ensure that the endowment funds comply with the relevant laws and regulations and that an effective system of financial control is in place.

All donations are held separately from the money used to provide day to day NHS services and everything we fund is an enhancement to the NHS services funded by the Government.
